A Full Life

Since we last talked I...
...traveled to Velence...
...so that I could get a taste of life at the school...
...sat in on classes in  the school. So fun!
And a couple days after that, I met a cow at the zoo in Budapest. My favorite!
Sunshine. Amazing sunrises. Marvelous sunsets.  Longer days. Longer runs.
Big worms and squished frogs on the roads. [Mostly] blue skies. Light showers.
Pink and purple and white and yellow trees. New life sprouting up everywhere.
Welcome back, Spring! You have been highly anticipated around here!

What I have been confronted with lately in my life is my prayer life, a time to come quietly before the Lord. In a day full of meetings and a constant schedule, where do I find time to be really quiet with the Lord? Where do I find time to come humbly to Him with all that I am, committing my day and my life, to Him? Where am I finding the time to come before Him on my knees and praise Him for Who He is?
So often it's easy to put off time with the Lord so that I can work on a sewing project or running a bit longer. However, the time is so precious when I finally realize that these things pale in comparison to spending time with HIM. He is worth the time, worth putting everything else off. To know Him and His Word is far more important than however many cute dresses I make (and oh so cute!) or how many miles I can run before I go to work. To have the wisdom of the Lord in our hearts, in our souls, nothing can compare.

"Eat honey, my son, for it is good...

Know also that wisdom is like honey for you:
If you find it, there is a future hope for you,
and your hope will not be cut off."
Proverbs 24:13-14
